Classes geared towards different age groups to help children engage in yoga and body movement in a fun way. Children will learn different age-appropriate poses as well as breathing techniques. We also chat about times yoga and breathing can be really helpful in our lives, and have lots of fun in class. There is no expectation in this class for students to follow a series start to finish, we take breaks and have silly moments to break things up.
Dance with Capital Dance Company
Classes include : Baby & Jr Ballet, Jr Lyrical, Mini & Jr Hip Hop, Competitive/Pre competitive teams.
Hatha Vinyasa Yoga with Angela
A combination of vinyasa (a series of movements connected through breath), asanas (poses), pranayamas (conscious breathing), meditation and relaxation.
Classes Mondays & Thursdays 6 - 7pm $15 drop in or monthly rates (book in advance to guarantee your space)
Returning soon - Yin Yoga
A slower paced style of yoga where poses are held for 3-5 minutes from seated or laying down positions. As you relax into the pose, the connective tissues that for our joints are gently stretched, increasing mobility and flexibility.
Returning soon - Wing Chun
This class will teach you a series of techniques and moments following Southern Chinese Kung fu. These techniques are a form of self defence. You will learn to move your upper limbs quickly and effortlessly, while maintaining strong legs as your base. Your movements are not aggressive, but used to subdue your opponemt.
Returning soon - Qi Gong
In this class you learn and practice a centuries old system of coordinated body posture and moments, as well as meditation and breathing exercises for the purposes of health, spirituality, and martial-art training.
