Massage Therapy Background
In 2008 I graduated from Algonquin College with an advanced diploma in Massage Therapy. I then completed both a practical and a written provincial entrance exam in Ontario to become certified as a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
In 2010 I moved to New Brunswick and continued my career as a Registered Massage Therapist, now as a member of The College of Massage Therapists of New Brunswick.
In 2015 I also began teaching Massage Therapy at Eastern College. Over the years I have continued to upgrade my skillset with courses in Cupping Therapy, Prenatal Therapy, Table Thai yoga Massage, Reiki, and Indian scalp massage.

My Approach
My approach as a Registered Massage Therapist is based off of one key component, actively listening to my clients. In my practise this has been the most valuable tool in determining the best possible treatment for each individual client. This also includes creating a safe, confidential space that clients feel comfortable discussing their healthcare goals.
Goals for treatment can vary not only between individual clients but also between separate treatments for the same client. For this reason, having discussions about the clients goals and truly listening as the therapist is vital. From this point I am able to create a treatment plan that varies in style, pressure and technique to meet my clients goals.
